Advanced Security

As announced during the class, you are expected to prepare a presentation (between 15 and 20 minutes long) on a scientific paper related to "security".

These presentations will take place on December the 20th and/or 21st.

Numerous topics are available, e.g.,:

• software vulnerability analysis and detection
• Web security
• Attack countermeasures
• Use of ML techniques for security
• Network security
• Reverse engineering techniques and/or code (de)-obfuscation
• Security for mobile platforms (Android, iOS, etc.)
• Malware detection and analysis
• etc.

A convenient source of paper are the one published in the Usenix Security Conference technical sessions, in particular because, in addition to the paper, the author slides and video presentations are available online (and could help you a lot to prepare your talk !).
